Flexible Octopus comparison uses the VAR-22-11-01 unit rate for your selected region, fetched live from the Octopus API (direct debit, monthly). This is the standard variable tariff that tracks the Ofgem price cap, updated quarterly in January, April, July, and October. The % vs SVT figure shows whether each Agile slot is cheaper (green) or more expensive (red) than what you'd pay on Flexible Octopus for the same region.
